We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to join our team and contribute to our success.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement: ensure product availability for customer orders while reducing costs.
- Develop and implement strategic procurement initiatives to strengthen product growth in a just-in-time environment.
- Optimize current purchasing processes to minimize inventory and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and parts.
- Anticipate customer consumption patterns and suggest adjustments to our sales and marketing strategies (forecasting).
- Maintain an acceptable inventory level to meet demand.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to update product availability in a timely manner.
- Plan and manage the routing of raw materials to our facilities.
- Conduct strategic cost analysis and benchmarking to purchase at the best price.
- Track ongoing orders and ensure their delivery within agreed timelines.
- Work closely with suppliers to establish and maintain good relationships and keep records up to date.
- Negotiate procurement agreements with suppliers, identify new suppliers, and ensure their compliance.
- Issue and track purchase orders, obtain confirmations, manage stockouts, and update the delivery schedule.
- Review purchase orders according to changes in product schedules and inform stakeholders.
- Handle internal purchases of consumables for our various sites, equipment, tools, etc.
- Check and adjust inventory levels (min-max, MOQ).
- Adjust minimum/maximum levels based on historical consumption rates to ensure that restocking quantities are accurate and purchased in a timely manner.
- Keep information up to date in the system (supplier data, current price list, delivery time, economic quantity, etc.).
- Supervise, manage, and ensure team performance.
- Ensure team alignment and cohesion as well as a culture of continuous improvement.
- Facilitate accountability and ensure shared leadership.

Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement and purchasing management.
- Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various departments.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in SAP is a plus.
